Unit Size

Extended information on product and variant unit sizes.

Overview

Use the unit size field to define the measure and dimension of your product. This value allows users to understand the exact unit size your product is sold in. When a unit size is submitted the units of measure are extracted, the units normalised to SI units and the total quantity (dimensionless quantity) and the total measure are computed. The total quantity and total measure are used to calculate the cost per unit for the product, the total measure takes priority if one is available.

Minimum requirements

These are the requirements that you'll need to meet to show your product. If you don't follow these requirements, we could reject your product.

  • Submit the total amount (number) and units that make up your product.
    • For example, if you submit £3 for the price and '150 ml' for the unit size, then the unit price would be £20 / Litre.
  • If the unit size has many units and each unit has a measure then submit all of this information.
    • For example, if a product comes in a unit size of "6 bottles (150ml each)" then the total unit size will be considered to be 900ml (6 x 150ml)
