  • Receive alerts for important account events
  • Customize notification frequency and triggers
  • Manage notification preferences per event type

Notification Types

  • Never: No notifications sent
  • On Event: Immediate notification when event occurs

  • Confirmation of store approval
  • Store contact information
  • Next steps for product submission
  • Store-specific guidelines and requirements

How Email Notifications Work

Configuration Options

Trigger Types

Email notifications support different trigger mechanisms:

  • Never: Disable notifications entirely for this event type
  • On Event: Send immediate notifications when events occur

Permission-Based Filtering

Notifications are only sent if you have the required permissions for that notification type. This ensures you only receive notifications for events you can act upon.

Managing Notification Settings

Via Supplier Dashboard

  1. Navigate to your account settings
  2. Select "Email Notifications"
  3. Configure each notification type individually
  4. Set trigger preferences (Never/On Event)
  5. Save your configuration

Via Data Integration

Notification preferences can also be managed through data integration tools:

  • Bulk configuration updates: Manage multiple notification settings at once
  • Automated preference management: Set up rules for notification preferences
  • Integration synchronization: Keep preferences in sync with external systems

Configuration Options:

  • Notification type: Which events trigger notifications (e.g., "store-request-accepted")
  • Trigger setting: When notifications are sent ("never" or "on-event")
  • User permissions: Ensure appropriate access levels for notification types

Default Settings

When you first create a supplier account, default notification settings are automatically configured:

  • Store Request Accepted: Enabled with "On Event" trigger
  • Future notification types will be enabled by default when added

Email notifications include:

Standard Elements

  • Account Context: Relevant supplier and store information
  • Action Items: Next steps or required actions

Best Practices

Notification Management

  • Review Settings Regularly: Ensure notifications align with your business needs
  • Monitor Important Events: Keep key notifications enabled for business-critical events
  • Manage Email Volume: Disable notifications for events that don't require immediate attention

Email Handling

  • Whitelist Sender: Add Axiom notification emails to your whitelist
  • Monitor Spam Folder: Check spam folders if notifications aren't received
  • Update Contact Information: Keep your email address current in account settings

Troubleshooting

Not Receiving Notifications

If you're not receiving expected notifications:

  1. Check Configuration: Verify notification is enabled with appropriate trigger
  2. Verify Permissions: Ensure your account has required permissions
  3. Check Email Settings: Confirm your email address is current and accessible
  4. Review Spam Filters: Check if emails are being filtered as spam

Permission Issues

Some notifications require specific permissions:

  • Verify your user role includes necessary permissions
  • Contact your supplier account administrator if permissions are missing
  • Review permission requirements in the notification configuration

Future Enhancements

The notification system is designed to be extensible. Future notification types may include:
