Overview
Buyers send requests to the suppliers they choose. Every request you receive appears on the Request Responses page, whatever its type:
- RFQ: the buyer wants prices for specific items. See Create a Quote.
- RFI: the buyer wants information, collected through a form. See Respond to RFIs and RFPs.
- RFP: the buyer wants a proposal, collected through a form. See Respond to RFIs and RFPs.
Which requests you can see
You only see a request if your company was invited to it and its delivery address is in a country or region covered by an RFQ setting that you are assigned to. The users in those settings are also the ones who receive the invitation email for a new request.
Viewing your requests
- Select Request Responses in the navigation menu.
- Use the Store filter to choose which connected store's requests to show. The first connected store is selected when the page opens.
- Use the Type filter to show All requests, or only RFQ, RFI or RFP.
- Optionally, use the Status filter to narrow the list.
If you have no requests yet, the page offers two shortcuts: Configure RFQ Settings and Manage Connected Stores.

Searching for a request
Use the search bar at the top of the page to find requests by title.
Request statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Received | You have been invited and haven't responded yet. |
| Responded | You have sent a response. |
| Partially Awarded | The buyer has awarded some of the items. |
| Awarded | The buyer has awarded the request. |

The Status filter offers Partially Awarded, Awarded, Ended and Responded. To find requests you haven't answered yet, clear the filter and look for the Received status.
Reviewing an RFQ
- Select an RFQ in the list to open it.
- Check the header:
- A badge shows how long is left before the request closes, for example 2 days, 5 hours remaining. It shows Quotation already expired once the close date has passed.
- Close Date and Time, Delivered By, Urgency, Store, External ID, Address and Comments come from the buyer. Anything the buyer left blank shows as Not provided.
- Review the Line Items list on the left. You can search it and select Sort by name. Select an item to see its Category, Internal Part #, Quantity, Benchmark price, Comments and Attachments. Select an attachment to download it.
RFIs and RFPs open on a form instead of line items. See Respond to RFIs and RFPs.
Responding
When you are ready to respond to an RFQ, see Create a Quote. For RFIs and RFPs, see Respond to RFIs and RFPs.
Making sure you receive requests
- Check that your RFQ settings cover every store, country and region you want to receive requests for.
- Check that the right team members are assigned in each setting.
- Watch your email for invitations. The subject is Request for Quotation, Request for Information or Invitation to Submit a Proposal, depending on the request type.
Tip
Clear the Status filter and set Type to All to see every request you've received, including ones you haven't answered yet.
